For the first time ever in the history of Formula One, the 2009 season saw a team competing in their first season win both the Constructors and the Drivers Championships. This double victory was achieved by the Brawn GP team, and their official timing partner Graham of London.
Inspired by this unprecedented, winning collaboration Graham of London have produced the Brawn GP Collection. This is a collection of atypical Limited Edition timepieces that marry both the Graham of London and Brawn GP brands on the dial.
The collection currently has 8 different models, one of which is pictured here to the left, the Silverstone Trackmaster Year One – limited to only 250 pieces.
Some of the highlights of this watch include a stainless steel case that has a ceramic and stainless steel bezel, with a tachymeter on a stainless steel ring.
The white gloss dial bears the Brawn GP F1 Team’s official colours, with Brawn GP yellow and black numerals. The Brawn GP car’s disc is set as the 30 minute counter. The hour and minute hands are luminescent white, with a red chrono second hand – as are the 12 hour and 30 minute counter chrono hands.
The watch has a sapphire crystal case-back, that has a Brawn GP ribbon silk-screen printed on to it. The strap is an integrated black rubber strap with yellow line, and a stainless steel buckle.
The eight models in this collection all bear the Brawn GP colours, but each are strikingly different limited editions.
