Britain’s beloved luxury watch house Bremont is still youthful in its history, and yet despite their place amidst a plight of centenarian brands, they have cemented an amazingly robust and exciting reputation. Whether it’s their rare limited editions widely coveted by collectors or their classic models designed for military units, Bremont has secured themselves a place as one of the finest luxury watch brands in the industry. It for that very reason we are delighted to announce some of Bremont’s latest watch releases today.
The new arrivals were announced just this afternoon and include the brand’s first ever sports chronograph with the Bremont Supermarine Chrono, an extension to their best-selling Armed Forces collection with the Bremont Argonaut Azure and an entirely brand new Supermarine model under reference S302. Alongside these three key releases, Bremont have also announced the opening of its new manufacturing and technology centre nicknamed “The Wing”. It is here where Bremont will continue to engineer their mechanical timepieces on British soil but with more emphasis on manufacturing components in the UK. The centre will also be open to the public for those that want to witness the future of British watchmaking.
Alongside the release of the Bremont Supermarine Chrono, the Armed Forces Argonaut Azure and the Supermarine S302, Bremont have hinted at some further releases expected in 2022 along with the announcement that they are now the Official Timekeeping Partner to British racing icon Williams Racing. In conjunction with the Bremont emblem decorating the team’s cars, gloves and suit, each member of the Williams Team will be wearing a Bremont ALT1-WT World Timer dressed in blue to match their suit. The British engineering icons have also mentioned the release of the first Bremont Williams watch, but it looks like we will have to wait until next year for more details on that.
Bremont Supermarine Chrono
The Bremont Supermarine appears to be taking centre stage today with two new extensions launched for the collection including a new series of Bremont Supermarine Chrono watches. The Supermarine line was first introduced back in 2009 and was described by Bremont founders Nick and Giles English as an “amphibious” watch that could be used in both an aeroplane and as an effective piece of diving equipment. Today, the diver’s model is presented as a sporty relation with new chronograph complication equipped for the first time.
The Bremont Supermarine Chrono is available in four variations, two with a blue dial and bezel and two with a black dial and bezel. Each colourway is then available on a stainless steel bracelet or a coloured rubber strap retrospective of its dial colour. As with Supermarine models before it, the new Bremont chronographs are engineered using the brand’s iconic three-piece case construction measuring to 43mm in diameter and inclusive of a DLC coated middle case barrel. Housed within is the chronometer rated La Joux Perret 7754 calibre which delivers chronograph complication, GMT functionality and a power reserve of 42 hours.
Alongside the release of the Bremont Supermarine Chrono collection, the British watch manufacturer has announced their latest brand ambassador, Jason Fox. The former Royal Marine Commando, ex Special Forces Sergeant and current ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ star is perfectly suited to the brand with his own impressive list of achievements that have often required the presence of a robust, sporty chronograph on the wrist. With that in mind, Jason is now fully equipped with his own Bremont Supermarine Chrono watch.

Bremont Argonaut Azure
Since its launch in 2019, the Bremont Armed Forces collection has been designed in collaboration with Britain’s Ministry of Defence in honour of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. The original trio included the Bremont Arrow, Argonaut and Broadsword, each chronometer certified and inspired by the original ‘Dirty Dozen’ watches commissioned for the British Army during World War II. Since then, the collection has expanded, first with a series of Bremont Broadsword Bronze watches and now with a new Bremont Argonaut Azure watch.
With its name still inspired by Greek mythology and synonymous with Naval history, having appeared on Commissioned ships for nearly 250 years, the Bremont Argonaut Azure watch continues the Bremont Armed Force’s utilitarian mission with a harmonious ocean blue aesthetic. Its handsome blue dial ensures optimal readability on both land and sea with mint and black coloured Superluminova accents on the hands, indexes and bezel.
Measuring to 42mm in diameter and engineered from hardened stainless steel, the Bremont Argonaut Azure watch characterises itself as a military dive watch enhanced by the chronometer rated BE-92AV movement and the internal rotating bezel operated by a lockable crown at 4 o’clock. The case is satin polished and paired with a distinctive orange Temple Island rubber strap. As the only luxury watch brand in the world authorised to use the Heraldic Badges of the Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, Bremont have adorned the Argonaut Azure with a collective of the three symbols on the screw down 300 metre water resistant case back.

Bremont Supermarine S302
Last but certainly not least in today’s line up of Bremont 2021 watch releases is the Bremont Supermarine S302. Extending the Supermarine Type 300 range, a vintage-inspired collection designed for professional divers, the new S302 model delivers a smaller iteration measuring to 40mm in diameter now with added GMT functionality. It’s burnt orange GMT hand stands out beautifully against the black dial backdrop and complements the bronzed accents found on the screw in crown and unidirectional ceramic rotating bezel.
The stainless steel case of the Bremont Supermarine S302 watch continues to impress with a scratch resistant DLC treated case barrel, domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating and a screw in crown guaranteeing a water resistance of 300 metres. In celebration of the aircraft it takes its name from, the Bremont Supermarine S302 watch also includes a closed case back adorned with an image of the Supermarine Sea plane and is delivered on two strap options including a brown Sahara Vintage leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet.
Like the Supermarine Chrono before it, the new Bremont Supermarine S302 has been launched in conjunction with a Bremont ambassador. This time, running legend Nick Butter takes the lead and will be wearing his own S302 during his “Run Britain” challenge. This near impossible quest will see Nick attempt to run 200 marathons in 100 days around the coast of Britain as he becomes the first person to run 100 double marathons back to back.
