Breitling Top Time Dues Limited Edition

The first release of 2021, the Breitling Top Time Dues Limited Edition watch was designed in partnership with Australian lifestyle brand Deus Ex Machina in honour of the stylish and fearless soul of both brands and the Deus Swank Rally, an epic motorcycle championship of which Breitling is now the Official Timekeeper for. The limited edition also takes inspiration from the original Top Time collection from the 1960’s, particularly in the dial which incorporates the historic panda-colourway alongside bright orange accents. The case measures to 41mm in diameter with a slim unadorned bezel, 300 metre water resistant rating and a snapped case back adorned with a motorcyclist in full flight designed by Deus creative director Carby Tuckwell. Powering the Breitling Top Time Dues Limited Edition is Breitling Calibre 23 automatic winding movement with a power reserve of 48 hours. You can read our full in-depth review on this model here.

The colourway of the RAF is featured on the dial with a blue backdrop, black snailed counters and bold red detailing on the central chronograph seconds hand. The design is also home to the reinstated Rouleaux vintage bracelet which blends seamlessly into the lugs of the stainless steel case. You can read our full in-depth review on this model here.

Breitling Premier Heritage Watch Collection

One of Breitling’s biggest launches of 2021 was the Breitling Premier Heritage watch collection. Launched a day ahead of the 2021 Watches and Wonders event, the series takes inspiration from three of the Swiss watch brand’s legendary founders and their proud traditions with the chronograph complication with three new models: the Breitling Premier Heritage B09 Chronograph, the B15 Duograph and the B25 Datora. The Breitling Premier Heritage B09 Chronograph 40 is available as a pair of manual wound chronographs, the first engineered from stainless steel with a pistachio green dial and the second dressed entirely in 18 carat rose gold with a crisp silver dial. Both Premier Heritage B09 Chronograph watches measure to 40mm in diameter and are fuelled by the Breitling Calibre B09 hand wound movement with a 70 hour power reserve and column-wheel, vertical clutch chronograph with 1/4th second and a 30-minute counter.

The second instalment in the Breitling Premier Heritage collection is the B15 Duograph 42. Also dressed in a choice of stainless steel of solid rose gold, the pair celebrate one of the industry’s most elaborate complications, the Rattrapante.  Also known as a split-seconds chronograph, the Rattrapante is equipped to time two intervals instead of one. In the Breitling Premier Heritage B15 Duograph 42, the clever complication is powered by the hand-wound Breitling Manufacture Caliber B15 movement embraced within a 42mm case with 100 metre water resistance, cambered sapphire crystal glass and a screwed down exhibition case back. Lastly, the Premier Heritage series introduces the Breitling Premier Heritage B25 Datora, another 42mm piece available in steel or rose gold but showcasing a remarkable array of complications powered by the Breitling Manufacture Calibre B25 self-winding movement. Alongside hours, minutes, chronograph and small seconds, the B25 Datora displays a moonphase aperture at 6 o’clock surrounded by a date indicator and a double day and month window at 12 o’clock. The two variations are presented with a copper dial or a silver-coloured dial.
