The strongest and lightest Super Sea Wolf to date, the new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Pro-Diver Limited Edition celebrates the Swiss watch brand’s 140 year anniversary with an ISO-certified design paying homage to the beauty of Arctic sea ice.
Since taken under the wing by the Fossil Group, Zodiac has continued to innovate on their 140 year old history, particularly focusing on their dive watch legacy. Since 1953, the Zodiac Sea Wolf watch has remained one of their most impressive, and as such, best-selling designs making history as one of the first commercial dive watches on the market. With their luminous dials, waterproof straps, 200m water resistant cases and ratcheted unidirectional bezels, they have easily competed with other entry-level dive pieces from other Swiss watch manufacturers. Earlier this year, Zodiac pushed the limits of underwater exploration even further and launched the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Pro-Diver, a diving instrument meeting ISO certification and offering a water resistance of 300 metres. Now for an even lighter ISO-certified timepiece, the brand launches the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Pro-Diver Limited Edition with a new titanium case and bracelet.
Obviously, the titanium case and bracelet of the new Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Pro-Diver Limited Edition is where the originality lies. Titanium as a watch material is highly beneficial to divers for a number of reasons; not only is it stronger and lighter than classic stainless steel but it offers additional scratch resistance and anti-corrosive properties – a must have for those that like to explore the depths of seawater. The case sits on the wrist with a diameter of 42mm and thanks to the screw in crown and screwed down case back delivers a water resistant rating of 300 metres. Like the other Pro-Diver model, the rating has been ISO certified.
On top, the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Pro-Diver Limited Edition presents a bold mint green-coloured unidirectional rotating bezel which according the brand commemorates “the beauty of Arctic sea ice, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the Earth’s energy balance while helping keep polar regions cool due to its ability to reflect more sunlight back into space.” Its seafoam hue is entirely luminous which means that if you were to dive at night, you can still easily monitor your elapsed dive times. The bezel is also ratcheted for easy manipulation while wearing gloves and features a black printed scale and a luminous triangle marker for additional ease of reference.
Contrasting to the seafoam green bezel is a blazing orange minutes scale which slopes down into the flat matte base of the dial. The dial of the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Pro-Diver Limited Edition is as equally readable as the rest of the design set with large luminous hour markers, a green lume hour hand and a contrasting orange luminous minutes hand. The seconds hand also receives an arrow-shaped tip that glows in the dark. Completing the black display is the printed Zodiac logo and markings to depict its water resistance and chronometer status.

As it suggests on the dial, the movement powering the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Pro-Diver Limited Edition is chronometer certified. The calibre in question is the Sellita SW200-1 Automatic which ensures smooth running of the time-only complications. We’re also promised a power reserve of 38 hours, 26 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Completing the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Titanium Pro-Diver watch is a seven-link bracelet engineered from titanium to match that of the case. The bracelet closes by a butterfly clasp.
